Meet Agent Man, Carl Durkow. The Philadelphia based designer, focuses on making distinctive objects to be lived with and cared for. Specializing in furniture and lighting, Carl also makes handcrafted, sculptural candles that are often described as whimsical and even a little naughty. His candles, which are part-hobby and part-business, offer clients an opportunity to enjoy his work at a more accessible price point. Carl designed Jena's outdoor table pictured below.

A mistake you’ve learned from: Allowing a toxic workplace to harm my life and soul for too long and preventing myself from following my passion.

To your younger self: I'm only 25, but don't let anyone tell you the different way you see the world is wrong. Being neuro-atypical isn't something to be ashamed of. Work with it and do not tolerate people who fixate on your differences. There is no right or wrong way to be, only social conventions.
