What is a cellular messenger?

These signaling molecules actively bind to other molecules and parts of cells (known as receptors) and then carry messages into and through the cell through a chain of chemical messengers.

With Follicusan™, their messages actually stimulate the dermal papilla cells in the scalp. These DPC cells are often called the ‘most important cell type found in the hair root’ and so a strong stimulatory message on these DPC cells means that these messages support the development of the new hair, development of the number of anagen hairs, and are effective at fighting hair fall.

What else does Follicusan™ do?

When used topically over a course of 90 days or longer, as well as stimulating the proliferation and growth of hair follicles, Follicusan™ also has a positive impact on:

• The ATP content of DPC cells - increasing it; and
