Eat this for: To help hormonal health and healthy hair.

Time & Place: Drink cistus tea to help fight off a virus.

Skin Food: Olive oil, juicy fruits in the summer, mineral-rich greens, alpha-lipoicacid, and chlorella

Relieving Recipe to treaty anxiety: Kitchari is always grounding and resetting.

COVID-19 Silver Lining: A silver lining for me would be the forcing of the earth and ourselves to slow down. Also realizing we need health over wealth. It has forced me to have my exodus from the city into country life, which seems to be better for my nervous system.

Skincare mantra: Use on your skin food-grade ingredients.

AMBROSIA FOR THE SKIN

  • Hibiscus leaves
  • Calendula leaves
  • Sweetener of choice (raw honey, stevia, or coconut sugar)

Simply steep the hibiscus and calendula leaves in hot water for an hour. As it is cooling, add your favorite sweetener like raw honey, stevia, or coconut sugar. Stir until blended. Then allow to cool on its own or in the refrigerator.

**some of these tonics and herbs should be used with caution when pregnant since they can enhance certain hormones.
