Guys, I get messages all the time about how to use holi (locks) which is my growth hair serum and detangler. Today I’m going to run you through how I use it. 

First up, remember that holi (locks) is a treatment oil and is NOT a styling oil. If you want a styling oil you should be buying hair (silk), our french silk peptides, hyaluronic acid, and monoi based soft hydrating hair serum.

Holi (locks) is a treatment oil. It’s made to be left in your hair, ideally overnight or for a minimum of 8-12 hours, and fully absorbed into the scalp. Once you have let it absorb then you wash it out and can style your hair as normal.

I love to apply holi (locks) to dirty hair and leave it in overnight before I wash it out. I put two full droppers into the roots of my dirty hair (or hair that soon needs a wash) and I massage it in. I then put one full dropper from mid-section through to the ends of my hair to ensure that the rest of my mane gets some attention too!

You can also leave it in during the day too but personally I think that overnight is easier as it doesn’t impact the way your hair looks during the treatment. 

It’s really important to remember that you always have to wash holi (locks) out so you should not style or blow dry with it in.
