It is *not* a treatment oil, you do *not* have to apply it overnight and wash it out the next morning [like you do with holi (locks)] and you do *not* have to use it consistently over a longer period of time to see results.

hair (silk) was formulated for instant results but when I was formulating, I knew I also wanted to create something that worked for the long haul too. I wanted to formulate a product that would protect your hair against future damage from the crazy levels of free radicals, chemicals, and oxidative stress that we live in and around in our day to day busy city lives.

Here are the four superstar ingredients that are going to help your hair flourish for the long haul, not just for the night:

1. First up, the luxurious silk peptides. These are hydrolyzed proteins derived from the natural silk, Fibroin, and this strengthening compound contains cysteine - an amino acid that supports the bonds between keratin molecules - helping to strengthen hair from root to tip. Using this over time will help to strengthen the bonds between keratin molecules in the long term, leading to stronger hair over the long haul - as well as making it look luxurious and hydrated for the night. How to use hair (silk)?

I love to apply hair (silk) when I air dry my hair. After towel drying, I put half of a dropper in the palm of my hands and spread the product evenly through my hair.

You can also use the product when blow-drying too - use a quarter of a dropper on towel-dried hair, then blow-dry as normal, before using a few drops as a finishing oil for extra shiny, silky hair.
