Can we raise our vibration and be happier?

“As you think, you vibrate. As you vibrate, you attract.” – Abraham Hicks
We are vibrational beings, living in a vibrational universe. What we see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our fingertips is all interpreting vibration. While we may appear solid, and the objects around us appear to be solid, we are all just energy that has been condensed to a slow vibration.
Because everything is vibration, the rate at which someone or something vibrates, can be measured in terms of frequency. When your frequency is high, everything seems to flow, you feel good, you experience synchronicities and things manifest very quickly. But when your frequency is low, life feels hard, your mood is low, and it seems like things don’t ever work out. This is because sometimes life can respond to your frequency. I know there are exceptions to this rule and that we can't always control the situations we are in. But sometimes we do have a choice to make our lives better by controlling our thought patterns. Have you ever thought of a friend that you haven't spoken to in months and suddenly they call or text you? Or have you ever noticed that when you focus on the good that someone is doing instead of the bad that you'll continue to see good things come from them? This has a lot to do with energy and vibration, and when you raise your vibration, life can become really magical. Below are some ways you can start raising your vibration.
Be Conscious of your Thoughts
Your thoughts are everything. Most people walk around completely unconscious of their thoughts, not realizing their power. If people understood the power of their thoughts, they would be more cognizant of what they were thinking about. My therapist always tells me to focus on the end goal of whatever it is I wish to create. She tells me that the negative thoughts are a distraction from achieving my goals and that I must have laser focus. I like to call it tunnel vision. That’s how powerful your thoughts are. They create. If you aren’t happy with where you are in your life, then you can start by shifting your thoughts. I am not saying this is always easy and I'm not telling you to not feel all of your emotions. I am a big believer in feeling and processing the range of emotions we feel on a daily basis. I try my best to never suppress my feelings of anger, pain and resentment. What I try not to do is sit in those emotions for a long time. I feel the emotion and then I work on pulling myself out of a funk by working out, playing high vibrational music or simply just doing something I love to do. As you become more conscious of your thoughts and start catching yourself when you’re going down a rabbit hole of negative thoughts, and you shift out of that, you will notice your life start to change. I notice if I'm angry and I get in the car that I will only see angry drivers. At times, your outside world can be a reflection of how you're feeling on the inside.
Gratitude
Gratitude carries a very high frequency and is one of the quickest ways to raise your vibration. Start practicing gratitude in your daily life. Appreciate all the blessings around you. As you focus on the things you are grateful for in your life, you raise your vibration and match the frequency of the things you want to manifest, allowing them to flow into your life.
Consider keeping a gratitude journal and make it a daily habit to write down the things you are grateful for.
In her book, Thank and Grow Rich, Pam Grout suggests playing the gratitude game. It consists of two simple steps and doesn’t take more than five minutes.
Step 1: First thing in the morning, before you get out of bed, proclaim “something amazingly awesome is going to happen” to you today. This is important because “the first few minutes of everyday pre-paves the next 24 hours with positive expectations. It sets up a powerful intention, a forecast on which you now choose to focus. And it never fails to come through.”
Step 2: Write down three blessings every morning. The only stipulation is that the items on your list must be different every day.
Because we get out of life whatever we focus upon, practicing these two simple steps, can radically change your life.
Meditation
Your natural state is to experience a high, fast, pure vibration. If you think of a cork bobbing on a body of water, that cork represents your natural, high vibrational state. Now imagine holding that cork under water. This is what can happen when you allow negative thoughts to control your entire day. You create resistance and you cut yourself off from your alignment with Source energy. The goal of meditation is to stop all thought, because when you stop all thought, you stop resistance. And when you stop resistance, your cork rises right back up to the surface of the water, raising your vibration to its natural state. Just 15 minutes a day of meditation can make a huge difference. Here are a couple of blogs we wrote on meditation:

Listen to High Vibrational Music and Read High Vibrational Books
What you consume, affects how you feel. Notice how you feel after watching certain tv shows, going on social media or listening to certain kinds of music. Like everything, they are all energy. While some vibrate at a high frequency, others vibrate at a lower, denser frequency. Do you feel uplifted after watching the news or going on social media, or do they put you in a negative headspace? The way you feel is your indicator of your vibrational frequency. If you’re feeling good, then you’re on the right track. If you’re feeling bad, then you know that what you’re watching, listening to or reading is something that’s not going to benefit you.
Listening to Abraham Hicks is a great way to raise your vibration. I play this album from Deva Premal in my house daily for the last 7 years. I also formulated the Agent Nateur deodorant to it. Deva's soothing voice and beautiful mantras calmed both me and my kitty Farrah Joon. I really noticed the energy of music through Farrah. Soothing music calmed her and aggressive music made her anxious. I am convinced that playing this music in my house daily changed the energy. Mostly everyone who visits me comments that the energy is so calm and peaceful. I am also really careful with the energy of others that I allow into my home. Your home is your sanctuary so make sure you're protecting it.
Eat High Vibrational Foods
Focus on eating an abundance of organic raw fruits and vegetables. These foods contain a high amount of life force energy and vibrate at a high frequency. This will allow your body to hold more light and help to raise your vibration.
Spend Time in Nature
Nature has a very high vibration. It’s important to get outside every day, take in the sun, fresh air and spend time in nature. It’s also important to move. Movement raises your vibration. So, dance, walk, hike, stretch and move your body.
Love Yourself
Our friend Shiva Rose recently gave us tips on how we can take better care of ourselves by creating rituals. For me personally, my entire day is different when I start my morning with a warm bath, meditation music and a candle vs grabbing my phone and starting work. I am calmer and more at peace by practicing this simple ritual.
