Since our conception, we’ve seen a wide range of skincare fads come and go (remember charcoal masks?), but our mission to create the most potent, luxurious, natural skincare products has never wavered. Every single ingredient you’ll find in our formulas was chosen because it works, and our skincare rituals were designed with intention for maximum efficacy.

We understand that individual skincare products are most beneficial when used as a part of a larger regimen, and it’s this mentality that makes Agent Nateur so effective. Take the holi (trinity) for example. This trio of rejuvenating toner, age-defying powder, and balancing oil works together to achieve optimum results. Each formula offers its own unique benefits, but when used as a set, the skin is exfoliated, nourished and hydrated, encouraging healing deep within the dermis.

When creating her formulations, Jena Covello puts as much care into selecting each ingredient as she does assessing how the entire product line works as one. She stayed true to her process when developing our latest cleansing products: acid (wash) lactic acid brightening cleanser and holi (cleanse) cleansing face oil, best when used together.

WHY CLEANSING IS CRUCIAL

We’ll admit it, the release of an Agent Nateur cleanser has been a long time coming. It’s one of our most frequently requested products, and for good reason. After all, all skincare regimens start with a clean face…

 …or do they?

 We argue that a proper skincare regimen begins even sooner. Cleansing is an imperative step when it comes to maintaining healthy, ageless skin!

 Too often, the process of cleansing the face is done in a rush and involves nothing more than a makeup remover wipe. The latest skincare trends covet exfoliants, serums, peels and moisturizers, but we forget that effectively removing makeup and oil is equally — if not more — important. Without a proper cleansing ritual, free-radicals and pollution create a barrier between our products and skin, making skincare less effective.

We don’t skimp on quality when sourcing ingredients, and the price point of our products reflects this. Being an Agent Woman isn’t cheap — We get it! This is exactly why Jena didn’t take the formulations of our cleansers lightly. She knew we needed to develop the most effective natural cleanser on the market in order to ensure that the rest of our products would be used on faces free of debris that makes skin less absorbent.

DO IT TWICE 

After extensive research, it became apparent that developing a single cleanser wouldn’t be enough to achieve the results we were seeking, and we decided to get on board with the latest skincare trend: Double cleansing. Why? Because it works.

Just like a few days of dry shampoo can take a couple of washes to free from our hair, the residue that builds up on our faces each day requires more than a little soap and a splash of water to remove. The process of double cleansing involves first washing the face with an oil-based cleanser, which emulsifies dirt, oil and makeup. Once this top layer of impurities is removed, a water-based cleanser is used to refine the skin’s texture, treat acne and calm irritation.

 Without this two step process, you’re likely layering your precious skincare products over remnants of foundation, sebum, and toxins. Not only does this make your regimen less effective, it may cause more damage to your skin. Going to bed before properly washing your face can stunt cell regeneration and lead to premature aging.

THE AGENT WAY

Our Cleanser Duo was specifically designed for a custom double or triple cleansing ritual suitable for all skin types.

 Step 1: Our holi (cleanse) is an oil-based formula that contains calming plant extracts and premium oils rich in vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants. This nourishing cleanser effortlessly lifts environmental pollutants, makeup and oil from the complexion, which can be swept away using a warm, wet muslin cloth (included).

Step 2: Follow by washing with our acid (wash), a lavender water-based cleanser formulated to brighten dull skin, increase firmness and prevent blemishes.

Step 3: Cleanse again with holi (cleanse) for added hydration and nourishment.

(In the morning, follow only steps two and three.)

 FINAL TIPS

We highly recommend following your cleansing ritual with our holi (trinity). Each of our products was designed to be a part of a skincare system, and the formulas work together to achieve unparalleled results. Once weekly, for deeper exfoliation and cleansing, apply acid (wash) to clean, dry skin as a mask. Leave for ten minutes, then rinse with warm water to remove.
